Mission Statement:

To provide information and open source software that can help people gain awareness of potential security problems with printers/scanners/multi-function devices.

Goals/Schedule:

I plan to do the following:

•             Provide information, links, about security issues and fixes for printer.
•             Guidelines to secure your printer
•             General information on printers
•             Tools for security/analyzing printers for security.
•             White Papers
•             List out security issues and they become known.

Currently this is my schedule for all of this:

1. Setup webpage, get initial goals out (December 31, 2006) -- DONE
2. Create a real web-site with graphics and links (March 30, 2007)
3. Flesh out website, add in any missing pieces (May 15, 2007)
4. Add in articles written by author (July 8,2007)
5. First release of analysis tool for security issues with printers (October 31, 2007)
6. Provide RSS feed for security issues (December 31, 2007)

Why am I qualified to do this?     

• Been working in the digital imaging world for 10+ years
• Been working with software security for 15+ years (from hobby to profession)
